Galactic Law
Out-of-Character Law:
1. Keep all discussions PG. Inappropriate content can get the whole site closed, so after a warning, continued violation will result in permanent banning.
2. Do not post anything inappropriate (ie. pornography, racist/sexist/homophobic comments, etc.).
3. Don't spam, swear, or advertise in the chat. Please limit chatspeak as well.
4. Use the out of character boards for discussing big group things. Please don't flood the chat.
5. Use the journal feature or private messages to make plots. Don't clog up the chat with that.
6. Be friendly and welcoming to all members. Bullying and rudeness will not be tolerated.
7. Respect the staff, they are that for a reason.
8. Have fun, be active, and enjoy!
In-Character Law:
1. You may have as many characters as you can be active with, but you may have only ONE canon character.
2. Try to follow the events of the Mass Effect games as closely as possible. We play as if everyone that could possibly be alive is and if you had to chose between 2 people, they both survived. If you are unsure of something, feel free to message an administrator or consult this source, which is very helpful for explaining plot. A little slip up here and there is no big deal, we're all organics after all.
3. Canon characters should be kept as realistic to their game counterpart as possible.
4. Do not try to god-mod, regardless of whether you are a canon character or not, we're all on equal playing ground.
5. Keep posts PG, as to remain in accordance to Proboards terms of service.
6. Each post should be a minimum of 350 words long. Try your best to use proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
7. You may be in multiple posts at one time, but please limit yourself to 3.
8. Make a separate account for each character you have.
9. Once your character is accepted, go to your profile and add yourself to their races group. WE WILL NOT DO IT FOR YOU!
10. Commander Shepard is a non-playable character, simply there to act as the admin account. You may not be Commander Shepard. And fair warning, the admin has other accounts and characters, but it's a secret, so play by the rules cause you never know
11. If involved in a mission, don't try to take over or be unrealistic, play this like it's a game! Missions will have a detailed explanation posted prior by Commander Shepard.
